Their normal process is to force you through an electronic question and answer process that can take 15 to 20 min. I would like to say this is an outlier but the fact of the matter is QB customer service is TRASH. I have no doubt that QB simply shutdown their customer service, ignoring calls in their hold queue until the problem was fixed and then they cleared the board.
